Mod's frequently abused their power. I had an experience where I came across an un-claimed base and used the loot for myself, as it was clear in the rules, that if a base was left unclaimed, it was the builders fault. I used the loot for myself, and I borrowed some of the building materials, but a few hours later, I found myself being persecuted by the moderators as it happened to be one of the mods bases. This is a clear sign, of abuse of authority, as if it was just another player's base that was left unclaimed, I would have received 0 repercussions. This left me with a very bad experience, and I would not interact with the mods on this server. I was willing to let this slide and kick it under the rug, but I want my 32 rare candies.
